The Armenian Needle Lace “Janyak” knot is a craft that has survived the forced displacement of many generations of Armenians and has been lovingly preserved within the communities of the Armenian-American diaspora. Two classes were held in 2024: January 20th and March 9th with Instructor Emma Welty, an artist, researcher, and writer with a textile centered studio practice. Future classes and consultations will be planned.
