Establishing Roots & Enriching Rhode Island exemplifies the vibrancy of the Armenian community and the important contributions we have made to our state from the arrival of the first Armenian immigrants through today. The first installment of this series highlights food establishments from those early immigrants and up to the present day.

Our survivors - from both the 1915 Genocide and Hamidian massacres - enabled us to thrive and contribute in almost every imaginable way to the fabric of Rhode Island and to the nation.
We want to highlight people from different walks of life including business and industry, health care, education, the arts, sports, the trades, entrepreneurs, inventors, skilled crafts and others.

We will mount rotating exhibits that feature numerous people for several months and then switch them out to a new group. Exhibits will include photos, interviews, storyboards, and more.
